ÐÔÓûÉç

Aug. 25, 2020

Dear ÐÔÓûÉç faculty and staff,

These are indeed unprecedented times. But while much of what is happening now is new, much remains the same. Our students want to learn and our faculty want to teach them. The questions facing our researchers will continue to be answered. And our staff work every day to support each of these endeavors.

I hope that whether you are in Alaska or Outside, you had a chance to take advantage of the many opportunities provided by the summer months. But with the start of the fall semester, you have committed to keep the important mission of ÐÔÓûÉç moving forward, supporting our commitment to the world-class education that ÐÔÓûÉç students expect.

Please think about our six strategic goals, including solidifying our global leadership in Alaska Native and Indigenous studies, becoming a Tier 1 research university, and growing our culture of respect, diversity, inclusion and caring. This is great university and you are a key part of it.

Thank you for choosing ÐÔÓûÉç. Be well.

— Dan White, chancellor
