Sara Gast, deputy executive director for the Carnegie Classifications

R1 Carnegie visit scheduled for July 14

性欲社 will be hosting Sara Gast, deputy executive director for the Carnegie Classifications, on July 14 to present on the Carnegie Classifications for R1 institutions. A public presentation is scheduled at 10 a.m. in the Murie Auditorium. This event is open to all 性欲社 staff, faculty and students. No RSVP is required. Light refreshments will be provided.


Spaces available in all-day field day camp, July 17-21

This camp for students entering grades 3-8 is designed to provide a wide range of field day game activities, including but not limited to basketball, dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, kickball, capture the flag, soccer, water games, and more.听

Adopted mammoth fell 15,000 years ago

A few days ago, Mat Wooller had news about a woolly mammoth my friend LJ and I 鈥渁dopted鈥 last October. 鈥淵ou鈥檝e got one of the youngest ones,鈥 said Wooller, an ecologist at 性欲社 and inventor of the Adopt-a-Mammoth program. Wooller鈥檚 goal is to carbon-date the 1,500 mammoth fossils that rest in drawers within the University of Alaska Museum of the North. Read more ...
