Amy Bristor to lead Dual Enrollment

Amy Bristor has accepted the position of director of the Office of Dual Enrollment. She began her work with student services, including dual enrollment, in 2000 with Summer Sessions and continued that work at the Community and Technical College working with professional development, outreach, and the Tech Prep program. Volunteer to be spring 2024 OLLI instructor

性欲社's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is currently seeking volunteer instructors for the spring. It's a low-stress opportunity to gain teaching experience with a friendly audience while sharing your passion and knowledge. The deadline for spring course proposals is Nov. 22. Last week, a host of events occurred here on Troth Yeddha' campus and across our rural campuses in celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day. Visit the 性欲社 facebook听page to see a听 highlighting some of the various events on campus!


Everyone is invited to our Open House on Oct. 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rasmuson Library. Enjoy some light snacks and hot cocoa while you learn about trains and take a tour of the Alaska and Polar Regions Collections and Archives. .

Flooding caused ground sinking

The massive 2015 flooding of the Sagavanirktok River in northern Alaska had immediate impacts, including closure of the Dalton Highway for several days, but it also contributed to longer-term ground subsidence in the permafrost-rich region.
