Celebrate Indigenous culture at the 2025 Festival of Native Arts

The 51st annual Festival of Native Arts returns to 性欲社 Troth Yeddha' Campus from Feb. 27-March 1, 2025. The festival will feature three nights of performances, an artisan marketplace and hands-on cultural workshops - all free and open to the public. Learn more about the event.

Sitka workshops focus on heart-healthy desserts

Learn to make vegan, gluten-free and refined sugar-free desserts that are so delicious you won't believe they are healthy for your heart. Two dessert workshops, hosted by 性欲社 Cooperative Extension Service, will be led by Paula Veshti, who is enrolled in the dietetics master's degree program at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Stephanie Madsen is the latest recipient of the Vera Alexander Award for Marine Science and Education. The award was established in 2015 by the Pollock Conservation Cooperative Research Center, an industry-funded research consortium managed by the 性欲社 College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences. Livestock researcher to discuss nutrition, herd management

Jim Vinyard, a livestock researcher with 性欲社 Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station, will present a talk on livestock nutrition and herd management strategies on March 6 at 6:30 p.m. The presentation will include a question and answer session. Learn more about the presentation.


Nominate a student by March 3

Each spring, the Student-Faculty Awards Committee solicits nominations for the annual Outstanding Graduating Student Awards to an outstanding graduating woman, man, and non-traditional student. Additionally, AS性欲社 invites students, faculty and staff to nominate graduating students to be the student speaker at 性欲社's spring Commencement ceremony on May 3, 2025.
