Keep up to date with UA COVID-19 information

Jan. 6, 2022

Dear staff and faculty,Ìý

As many of you are returning to work from winter break, I want to provide a short COVID-19 update for spring 2022. My regularly scheduled monthly COVID-19 message will go out next week.Ìý

Yesterday, Provost Prakash sent a communication to all faculty regarding the option to teach remotely for the first two weeks of spring 2022 classes. Given the weather conditions, delays in travel and persistence of COVID-19 cases, faculty will have the choice to teach remotely or in person until Jan. 21. Later today, a message will be sent out to students, asking them to work with their instructors to determine whether or not their face-to-face course will be modified for the first two weeks of the spring semester.Ìý

For ÐÔÓûÉç staff, please work with your supervisors regarding any needs to work remotely over the next week or two.Ìý

ÐÔÓûÉç will host additional drop-in flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinics Jan. 11-12 from noon-8 p.m. at the Patty Center. You can also get tested in Fairbanks on the Troth Yeddha’ Campus. The Beacon testing site is located in the Nenana parking lot and is open Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., with extended hours until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. Let’s continue to work together to keep Nanook Nation healthy.Ìý

Thanks for choosing ÐÔÓûÉç.

— Dan White, chancellor
