Dear ÐÔÓûÉç students, faculty and staff,
I was saddened today to learn of the death of one of our students, Kevin Danner-Suvlu.
Kevin was a first-year student in the College of Indigenous Studies’ Alaska Native
Studies program. Kevin, originally from Utqiagvik, was a promising student who was
interested in learning more about Inupiaq dancing and drumming, and spoke about wanting
to join ÐÔÓûÉç’s student running club.Ìý
Our condolences go to Kevin’s family and home community, as well as to the students,
staff and faculty who knew him.Ìý
If you or someone you know is struggling with this loss, please don’t struggle alone.
