Chancellor’s Report on Philanthropy
Fall 2022
Dear ÐÔÓûÉç supporter,
As we begin the fall semester, I want to thank you for your continued support of ÐÔÓûÉç through your generous contributions. Without you and your investment, many of ÐÔÓûÉç’s key initiatives would not have been possible over the years.
On Aug. 4, ÐÔÓûÉç named the Joseph E. Usibelli Engineering Learning and Innovation Building to honor and recognize the contributions of ÐÔÓûÉç alumnus and philanthropist Joe Usibelli. Through Joe’s lifelong commitment to building a culture of giving, ÐÔÓûÉç has been able to present distinguished teaching, research and service awards to faculty members, fund student scholarships and construct modern facilities such as the Usibelli Building and the UA Museum of the North.
Your philanthropic efforts, like Joe’s, not only are essential to our success but also live on through the inspiring stories of students, faculty members and the people of Alaska. Your kindness has made us a better institution.
Again, I thank you for your generosity and support, and thanks for choosing ÐÔÓûÉç.
Dan White
Chancellor
