Accreditation report online

September 30, 2011

Earlier this week I sent an email out to the campus community to let them know about the accreditation evaluation team that will be visiting the Fairbanks campus Oct. 3 – 5, 2011. I’ll be sending out subsequent reminders next week to staff, faculty and students to remind you of when your scheduled meeting time with the evaluation team will be held.

Being prepared for the evaluation team's visit is important.  To this end, I encourage you to read through as much of the self-evaluation report before Monday's visit, in particular, your areas of interest.  The .  Vice Provost Dana Thomas led the effort in pulling this report together and the report as a whole tells a good story of ÐÔÓûÉç — what we have accomplished, who we are now, and what we aspire to be.

I thank all the faculty and staff at ÐÔÓûÉç who have spent so much time on this process. The work they have done help us ensure that ÐÔÓûÉç — Alaska’s first university and America’s arctic university — maintains a standard of excellence as we approach our centennial in 2017, and beyond.
