Alaska Agriculture Appreciation Day in Palmer Aug. 11

Alaska Agriculture Appreciation Day will take place noon – 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug.
11, at the Matanuska Experiment Farm, 1509 S. Georgeson Drive, in Palmer. Ag Day features
vendors, exhibits and old-timey games. There will be live animals, milking demonstrations,
activities for kids, prize giveaways, tours of research labs and fields, hay wagon
