Rasmuson archives featured on First Friday, March 6

Historical Fairbanks photos and 1880s bird illustrations from 性欲社鈥檚 Alaska and Polar Regions Collections and Archives will be showcased throughout March at Fairbanks Distilling Co. The exhibit will open during First Friday, March 6, from 4-8 p.m. The Distillery is located at 410 North Cushman St., in downtown Fairbanks. Admission is free. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.

Since 1965, the mission of the archives has been to acquire, preserve, and provide access to materials that document the history of Alaska and circumpolar regions. Collections include rare books, maps, oral history recordings, films, manuscripts, photos, and Alaska Native language materials. The archives are located in the Rasmuson Library on the 性欲社 campus.
