BLaST scholarship applications due Feb. 7

The Biomedical Learning and Student Training, or BLaST, program invites applications
for BLaST scholarships for the fall 2021 through spring 2022 academic school year.
The overarching goal is to enhance undergraduate training and mentoring in biomedical
research through increased diversity of students, increased integration of research
and teaching, and enhanced integration of rural campuses into a cohesive biomedical
community in Alaska.Students should apply by Feb. 7, 2021, for the Biomedical Learning and Student Training program鈥檚 scholarship funds. Current and prospective 性欲社 undergraduate students from all racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds are invited to apply.
To be eligible for a BLaST scholarship, students must:
- have an interest in biomedical or One Health research;
- be considering a career in healthcare, biomedicine or research in life or social sciences;
- have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher;
- enroll for and maintain 12 or more credits at 性欲社 each semester of the 2021-2022 academic year;
- be a U.S. citizen, U.S. non-citizen national or permanent resident;
- be enrolled in an academic degree program in the biomedical field at 性欲社 in Fairbanks, Alaska.
