Call for ÐÔÓûÉç Meritorious Service Award nominees

The ÐÔÓûÉç Meritorious Service Awards Committee is reaching out to its extended communities to request nominations for the ÐÔÓûÉç Meritorious Service Award for the 2012 - 2013 academic year.

The ÐÔÓûÉç Meritorious Service Award is a high and rare honor, given to individuals for outstanding service that is typically locale-oriented. Nominees should be individuals who have demonstrated evidence of significant services publicly, academically, voluntarily or philanthropically; have provided services to ÐÔÓûÉç or to one of the community campuses, or to an Alaska community; have longevity of commitment and/or service; and/or diversity – culturally and/or discipline.

The official criteria for this award is outlined in the UA Board of Regents’ policy ().

In addition to the letter of nomination, nominations may include the nominee’s resume, and up to five letters of support as supporting documentation.

The nomination deadline is Friday, Aug. 31. ÐÔÓûÉç will hand present the awards during ÐÔÓûÉç's May 2013.
