CFOS Seminar: 'Genomics research and cultural ecological knowledge'

The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences will hold its weekly seminar on Wednesday, March 17, from 3:30-4:30 pm via Zoom.
The talk will be offered by Rachel Arnold, who is an associate director at the Salish Sea Research Center. "Integrating Genomics Research with Cultural Ecological Knowledge"
In this presentation, Rachel Arnold will describe how staff at the Salish Sea Research Center at Northwest Indian College have been conducting scientific research in collaboration with the Coast Salish Tribes of the Pacific Northwest. Her research integrates cultural ecological knowledge and emphasizes reciprocation with local communities.
