Chancellor honors donors

Some 175 people braved record-breaking cold to attend this year's donor reception Wednesday, Nov. 16, in the Regents’ Great Hall.
Each year, the chancellor honors donors who have shown great philanthropic support and dedication to . The 2011 honorees were Bill and Betsy Robertson, who were thanked for their personal contributions to the university; Mike Powers, CEO of Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, for corporate contributions and partnership with ÐÔÓûÉç; and the Rasmuson Foundation, which has a long-standing relationship with ÐÔÓûÉç through contributions from the foundation as well as family members.
More than 3,600 donors contributed to ÐÔÓûÉç in FY11. Of these, about 560 were ÐÔÓûÉç faculty and staff.
