Community Sikuliaq reception on Fairbanks campus

A reception to celebrate the recent launch of the Research Vessel Sikuliaq will take place at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, in the Davis Concert Hall.

Videos of the Oct. 13 ceremony and launch from Marinette, Wis., and of The Song of the Sikuliaq, composed by master’s degree candidate Emerson Eads, and performed by the Fairbanks Arctic Chamber Orchestra, will be shown. Refreshments will be served.
