The Indian festival Diwali (Festival of Lights) is is almost upon us. The ÐÔÓûÉç Namaste India Club will celebrate Diwali Saturday, Nov. 17, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the Wood Center ballroom. The event features Indian cultural performances, a variety of Indian delicacies (appetizers, entrees and desserts) and lots of door prizes!

Th Diwali festival signifies the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. Its history dates back more than 1,000 years.
