性欲社 School of Management has received a $35,000 in-kind gift of clothing from Sheryl DeBoard, owner of the Fairbanks boutique In My Element.

DeBoard opened In My Element in 2009, wanting to create an inspiring place to shop for fashionable and functional women鈥檚 clothing, shoes and accessories. She graduated from 性欲社 in 1980 and skied competitively at 性欲社 for four years.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a great opportunity to give back to my alma mater,鈥 DeBoard said. 鈥淚 wanted to give back to a school that鈥檇 given so much to me. Sharing is a big part of Fairbanks and 性欲社; I鈥檓 honored to be able to be a part of that.鈥

DeBoard was inspired to give to the 性欲社 School of Management by her employee and 性欲社 student, Taylor Eckert. Eckert will graduate from 性欲社 in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in history and a minor in marketing. She served as president of the School of Management student organization Students Offering Leadership Development for three years and has been actively involved at the School of Management through events such as Business Leader of the Year.

The clothes given to the School of Management will be provided to students for use in interviews and business events and for practice dressing professionally. Students will earn clothes through extracurricular participation in workshops and events focusing on confidence building, interview preparation and presenting a professionally polished image.
