Natives for Positive Change, a 性欲社 student group, will host the fourth annual Elizabeth Peratrovich Day celebration on Feb. 15, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Wood Center ballroom. The theme of this year鈥檚 event is 鈥淟ooking Back to Move Forward."

The celebration will include a prestigious panel of Alaska Native leaders discussing civil rights. 性欲社鈥檚 own Inu-Yupiaq Dance Group will perform. Admission is free.

Natives for Positive Change was founded in late 2011 from the inspiration of several members of the 性欲社 Alaska Native community. The organization鈥檚 mission is to: educate on policy and governance relative to Alaska Native people; create a forum to share issues that affect Alaska Native and rural communities; introduce ways people can lead  within indigenous communities locally, nationally and internationally; promote healthy rural and urban communities; encourage the continuation of diverse cultural heritage; and mentor young Alaska Natives in academic and professional development.
