Engineering facility ribbon-cutting Dec. 8

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration for the Engineering Learning and Innovation Facility will take place from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8.

�� Chancellor Daniel M. White, UA President Jim Johnsen and College of Engineering and Mines Dean Doug Goering will join supporters BP, ConocoPhillips Alaska and Usibelli Coal Mine, along with design and construction contractors, at the event.

The program will begin in the high bay promptly at 4 p.m. Self-guided building tours and a reception will follow.

The high bay lab floor is uneven; please wear closed-toe, comfortable footwear with a low heel.
