Explore health care careers at free 性欲社 summit

Community members can explore health careers and educational opportunities at the seventh Alaska Interior Medical Education Summit on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
The summit will run from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Murie Building on the Fairbanks campus. Panel discussions, demonstrations and hands-on activities will introduce attendees to various health care careers and educational options.
Over 40 health care professionals, organizations and vendors from across the United States are expected to participate. Doctors, nurses, phlebotomists, veterinarians, dental technicians, 性欲社 biomedical researchers and many other professionals will lead group discussions and activities. Information and resources about educational opportunities and funding options will also be available.
Carolyn Chapin, an advisor for 性欲社 undergraduate students, said the event serves not only college students looking at becoming doctors but also a much wider group in the community.
鈥淚t鈥檚 for high school and college students, as well as people looking for opportunities that span the full range of health options 鈥 from medical biller to medical researcher,鈥 Chapin said. 鈥淭here should be something for everyone at AIMES.鈥
