Final talk in Museum Discover Series features birds

The University of Alaska Museum of the North bird curator will discuss Alaska birds at the final event in this spring’s Museum Discovery Series.

An array of pinned birds to be added to collections at the University of Alaska Museum of the North.

The museum coordinates and sponsors the series. Each month during the spring semester, a curator unveils new discoveries based on research in the museum’s collections. The presentations are held in the museum auditorium on Thursdays at noon and are free and open to the public.

The final presentation is “Birds, Birds, Birds” by Kevin Winker on May 10.
