Healthy Living lecture series begins May 31

University of Alaska Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning will present its fourth annual Healthy Living lecture series starting on May 31.

The 11-part lecture series features experts and specialists in various health issues.

Lectures begin at 7 p.m. every Tuesday in the Murie Building auditorium at 性欲社. Dr. J. Timothy Foote, a specialist in pediatrics, allergy, asthma and immunology, and Susan Henry, a certified pollen counter, will launch the series on May 31 with the topic, 鈥淏irch pollen: Nothing to sneeze at.鈥

The hour-long lectures will be followed by question-and-answer sessions. Other topics this summer will include aging at home, summer sleeping tips and organ donation. The series is supported by Tanana Valley Clinic, Fairbanks Memorial Hospital and KUAC.
