Speed limit near engineering building will drop

Revived work on the engineering building will bring more contractors and materials to Tanana
Loop during the next year, so traffic rules will change.Beginning Sept. 14, the section of Tanana Loop nearest the engineering building will be considered a work zone. Traffic law violations will draw double fines, per Alaska statutes and codes.
After Oct. 1, the speed limit will drop to 10 mph.
