International affairs expert to lecture on China, Russia

性欲社 Office of International Programs and Initiatives will host two presentations Thursday, Nov. 3 by Jonathan Adelman, an international affairs expert from University of Denver.
Adelman will meet with 性欲社 students in the afternoon at the Honors House on Copper Lane. The presentation, 鈥淓merging China, Russia and Israel: What it Really Means for Traveling Millennials,鈥 is co-hosted by the 性欲社 Honors Program.
Adelman鈥檚 second lecture 鈥淓merging China and Russia: Impacts and Awareness for Alaska and Alaskans鈥 is free and open to the public. It will take place in the Wood Center Ballroom from 6:30 鈥 8 p.m.
Adelman is a professor in the Graduate School of International Studies at the University of Denver. He received his doctorate from Columbia University in 1976 and has been published numerous times regarding international affairs. He has worked with the U.S. State Department and served as doctoral dissertation advisor to former National Security Advisor and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. He currently is a senior fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies in Washington D.C.
