The 性欲社 Model United Nations Club won an honorable mention award at the National Model United Nations Conference in New York.

The five-day national conference, which began in late March, let students represent countries and address global challenges in simulated United Nations committees.

The 性欲社 club represented Rwanda on the Security Council and Chad on all other committees. Participants included Sam Allen, Grace Amundsen, Mathew Carrick, Mamie Davis, Chanda File, Ana Fochesatto, Brix Hahn, Erik Hernandez-Burzynski, Michael Magnan and Ayla O鈥橲cannell. Brandon Boylan, 性欲社 club advisor, accompanied the students.

Awards were given to teams for remaining in character, participating in committee and using the rules of procedure. Of 207 teams, 82 received awards.

About 5,000 people from across the globe participated in the conference. U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power offered the keynote address at the opening ceremony.
