Outdoor climbing wall gets companion warm-up yurt

Art major Bryson DeRonde lends a helping hand during the installation of a yurt set up next to the outdoor climbing wall by the . The structure will serve as a warm-up hut and to store safety gear for ice climbers using the wall.

The SRC is funded in part by a semester fee, payed by Fairbanks-area students taking 9 or more credits. The SRC fee covers use of the SRC and its facilities.

The facility provides space for intramural sports and fitness memberships for �� faculty, staff, alumni and the general public.
