Public lecture: Conflict of turtles and fishers in India

The will host a lecture Friday, April 22 at 2:30 p.m. in 201 O'Neill by Kartik Shanker, assistant professor at the Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, and founding trustee of . Shanker will discuss conflicts between effective conservation efforts for sea turtles and the livelihood needs of Indian fishermen.
