At SXSWedu, 性欲社 faculty members discuss mass killings

University of Alaska Fairbanks School of Management faculty members Cameron Carlson and Sean McGee gave an invited presentation on mass killing events in schools at one of the nation鈥檚 largest annual educational conferences.
At the presentation, conducted at in Austin, Texas, the pair showcased the experiences, education and capabilities developed within the homeland security and emergency management program at 性欲社. They also shared their experiences working with 性欲社, other schools and private industry through 性欲社's Center for the Study of Security, Hazards, Response and Preparedness as part of contracted services.
The presentation, 鈥淟eadership in the Most Difficult of Circumstances: Prevailing in the Face of Killing Events in Schools and Universities,鈥 was well attended. Attendees were split about evenly between K-12 and higher education institutions. The presentation was part of of SXSWedu's leadership series.
