Title IX, AlcoholEdu training by March 29
March 8, 2019
Title IX and AlcoholEdu trainings must be completed by Friday, March 29, 2019, to
ensure priority registration for the summer and fall semesters, otherwise a hold will
be placed on your account until April 14, 2019. If you took the original or refresher training in fall 2018, you do not need to do
it again this semester.
Title IX training is required for all certificate and degree students (associate to
Ph.D. and certificates) and any student living on campus. AlcoholEdu is required for
all certificate and degree students (associate to Ph.D. and certificates) ages 24
and younger, and all students who live in university housing, regardless of age. The
courses take about two hours (the refresher Title IX is about half an hour), and you
can save your progress and return to complete it at a later time. The courses include
optional surveys to help us understand the needs of our students and their perspective.
All survey responses are anonymous. To get started, please visit .
To avoid technical issues, use any major web browser released within the last two
years, and be sure the computer you use can play sound. If you鈥檙e on the Fairbanks
campus and need access to a computer, review this list of computer labs, otherwise
contact your local campus to find public computers in your area.
If you have past experiences with trauma related to sex and gender-based discrimination
and would prefer not to take the Title IX training, please submit the opt-out request.
