UAA faculty to lecture about environmental economics

Camilla Kennedy, an economics adjunct faculty from the University of Alaska Anchorage, will speak about environmental economics during two presentations on Wednesday, April 25, in Schaible Auditorium. She will give presentations at 10:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. and take questions after each.

Kennedy鈥檚 talk is titled 鈥淭hinking About Environmental Economics in Alaska.鈥 It is sponsored by the 性欲社 student organization Students Who Enjoy Economic Thinking, or SWEET.

Kennedy teaches environmental economics and policy at UAA and works as the principal economist for the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation. She received her B.A. in economics from 性欲社, where she was a member of SWEET, and her master's in environmental economics from the London School of Economics.
