Scientists, indigenous people, government officials and other Arctic experts will gather at 性欲社 during the first International Arctic Assembly Day on March 15. 性欲社 faculty, staff and students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
鈥淚t will be a wonderful opportunity to hear the visionary perspectives of those who are helping to guide our nations in addressing the challenges of a rapidly changing Arctic,鈥 said Larry Hinzman, 性欲社 vice chancellor for research and International Arctic Assembly Day coordinator.
The one-day event will harness the expertise of high-level officials attending the Arctic Science Summit Week, Arctic Observing Summit and the Arctic Council鈥檚 Senior Arctic Officials meeting. Presenters, panels and discussions will examine how the people of the Arctic, researchers and policymakers can best work together to respond to a rapidly changing Arctic.
A one-day registration option is available ($150) for anyone who would like to attend, and reduced rates are available for students ($110) and early career scientists ($130).
Registration is through March 1 and includes the conference program, lunch, breaks and an unprecedented opportunity to network with international Arctic leaders in science and policy.
