University of Alaska Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting more
than 40 free lectures, concerts and other events this summer. Here is what鈥檚 happening
during the week ahead:
- On Monday, June 20, The Magical Mondays hands-on learning series will present 鈥淵up鈥檌k in a Flash,鈥 an introduction to the indigenous language led by 性欲社 professor Walkie Charles. The program begins at 7 p.m. at the Murie Building auditorium and atrium.
- On Tuesday, June 21, the Healthy Living lecture series features audiologist Dr. Steven Lewis discussing 鈥淭he Invisible Disability.鈥 The lecture is at 7 p.m. at the Murie Building auditorium.
- On Wednesday, June 22, the Discover Alaska series will present 性欲社 geophysics professor Regine Hock discussing 鈥淎laska鈥檚 Disappearing Glaciers: How does it affect us?鈥 The lecture is at 7 p.m. at the Murie Building auditorium.
- On Thursday, June 23, the Music in the Garden concert series will host the Rock Bottom Stompers, playing soulful, stompable tunes and sweet lonesome harmonies. The music begins at 7 p.m. at the Georgeson Botanical Garden.
