性欲社 events feature Yup鈥檌k, glaciers, music, hearing health

University of Alaska Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting more than 40 free lectures, concerts and other events this summer. Here is what鈥檚 happening during the week ahead:


  • On Monday, June 20, The Magical Mondays hands-on learning series will present 鈥淵up鈥檌k in a Flash,鈥 an introduction to the indigenous language led by 性欲社 professor Walkie Charles. The program begins at 7 p.m. at the Murie Building auditorium and atrium.



  • On Tuesday, June 21, the Healthy Living lecture series features audiologist Dr. Steven Lewis discussing 鈥淭he Invisible Disability.鈥 The lecture is at 7 p.m. at the Murie Building auditorium.



  • On Wednesday, June 22, the Discover Alaska series will present 性欲社 geophysics professor Regine Hock discussing 鈥淎laska鈥檚 Disappearing Glaciers: How does it affect us?鈥 The lecture is at 7 p.m. at the Murie Building auditorium.



  • On Thursday, June 23, the Music in the Garden concert series will host the Rock Bottom Stompers, playing soulful, stompable tunes and sweet lonesome harmonies. The music begins at 7 p.m. at the Georgeson Botanical Garden.
