ÐÔÓûÉç Cooperative Extension Service will host a birch-tapping workshop at the Matanuska Experiment Farm on Saturday, April 18. Participants will learn to select birch trees, tap them, collect sap and cook it into syrup.

The workshop is scheduled from  1–3 p.m.  The fee is $10, and taps will be provided.
