性欲社 to host documentary, discussion about WWII Aleutian campaign

性欲社 will present "When the Fog Clears," a documentary
film that features remembrances by Japanese and American descendants of those who
lost their lives in the Aleutian Islands campaign. The film will be shown at 4 p.m.
March 2 at Schaible Auditorium, and will be followed by a discussion with director
Tadashi Ogawa.
The English-language film intertwines the breathtaking natural scenery of Kiska and
Attu islands with interviews. Admission is free and open to the public. Short-term
parking can be purchased in lots next to the Bunnell Building.
The event is sponsored by the Consular Office of Japan in Anchorage, 性欲社 Department
of History, 性欲社 Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, and College of Liberal
