Change coming to vending machines

Vending machines on campus will undergo an upgrade during the next few months. This week, credit card readers were installed on all the snack machines at ÐÔÓûÉç, and they're coming to drink machines as well.

The credit card readers can accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. They also can accept payments via near field communication systems such as Apple Pay and Google Wallet.

During the next few months, the vendor will install these readers on the drink machines.

By next fall, the readers also will accept ÐÔÓûÉç Bear Bucks or Munch Money.

The changes come in response to regular requests made to ÐÔÓûÉç Dining Services.
