Top 10 baby questions on April 10

Join Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning for a free lecture on Thursday, April 10, at 7 p.m. in the McGowan Room at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (1st Floor, South Entrance). Laura Brunner, M.D., will address common questions about early childhood health.

Babies can seem like a complex mystery. They can鈥檛 express themselves, they鈥檙e helpless, and when they cry, it can be stressful for parents and caregivers alike. Grandparents will have the opportunity to refresh their skills as research and best practices have changed in recent decades.

Brunner specializes in pediatrics and loves interacting with babies, toddlers, teens, and their families. In addition to seeing patients at FMH and in the FHP pediatric clinic, Dr. Brunner is the medical director of the pediatrics unit and NICU at FMH. She attained a medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota College of Biological Sciences.

The lecture will be webcast, recorded, and posted to the Summer Sessions YouTube channel. For more information, visit the Summer Sessions  events page.

The Healthy Children Lecture Series is sponsored by Foundation Health Partners, the Fairbanks Children's Museum, and 性欲社 Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning.
