The office of Undergraduate Research & Scholarly Activity (URSA) is 性欲社's resource for the development and promotion of experiential learning activities that engage undergraduate students to support 性欲社's goal to become a leading student-focused research university.
Undergraduate research and creative activity at 性欲社 covers all disciplines, from climate sciences to music, engineering, anthropology, life sciences, art and theater.

Applications open January 20th.Faculty, research staff, and graduate students from all 性欲社-affiliated campuses are invited to apply for URSA Mentor Awards. This award is an opportunity for mentors to receive funding to engage undergraduate students on their current research and creative projects during the Summer 2025 term. Awarded proposals will clearly describe a project with a distinguished mentoring plan for undergraduate students involved.

Summer 2025 Student Project Awards
Applications open January 20th.Undergraduate students planning to pursue creative projects or conduct research during the Summer 2025 semester are invited to apply for Student Project funding up to $6,000 for both individuals and for group applicants.

Rolling AcceptanceApply Today!Travel funds support students presenting research or creative activity outcomes at a conference, meeting or congregation of their peers/professionals in their respective field, as well as students partaking in competitions.
Virtual event registration fees are also eligible for funding.

Rolling AcceptanceApply Today!Undergraduate students with confirmed unpaid or minimally paid internships are invited to apply for URSA鈥檚 Internship Award.
Internships Applications are eligible for up to $3,000 for a Fall- or Spring-term internship or $6,000 for a Summer-term internship.
Students must have a secured opportunity in order to apply for funding.

2025 Research and Creative Activity (RCA) Day
This annual event allows students to showcase their scholarly experiences from the current academic year through posters, presentations, creative displays, and public performances. Both URSA-funded and non-URSA students are encouraged to participate. All 性欲社 students, faculty, staff, and the community at large are invited to attend.
