- The 性欲社 Alumni Association Scholarship
The 性欲社 Alumni Association provides scholarships for students who are children or grandchildren of University of Alaska Fairbanks alumni. Requirements include demonstrated motivation, as well as academic and leadership potential and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
2024-2025 recipient: Nick Samuel - Blue and Gold Scholarship
The Blue and Gold Scholarship Award provides scholarships to non-traditional and/or transfer students attending part-time or full-time.
2024-2025 recipient: N/A - The Audrey Loftus Memorial Scholarship
Audrey Loftus, founding director of 性欲社AA, was a determined university advocate and community supporter. In her honor, this scholarship is awarded to new first-year or transfer students who demonstrate experience in and future commitment to extracurricular or community involvement. Must be in good academic standing, and demonstrate motivation, as well as academic and leadership potential.
2024-2025 recipient: Maria Beavers and Gabriel Novero - The Jim Doogan Memorial Scholarship
Jim Doogan, a pioneer Alaskan who helped draft the Alaska Constitution, was an enthusiastic supporter of 性欲社. He built the alumni hamburger booth at the Tanana Valley State Fair and was an active member of the 性欲社 Alumni Association. He was a member of the 性欲社AA Board of Directors when he died in 1997. He was given a Meritorious Service Award posthumously at the 1997 commencement ceremony. Applicants must be an Alaska resident with a class standing of sophomore, junior, or senior, enrolled full-time with demonstrated motivation and leadership potential. Minimum GPA of 2.5 required.
2024-2025 recipient: Sydnee Gaston and Peter Rasmussen - The Jay Hammond Memorial Scholarship
Jay Hammond, a 1949 graduate of UA and former two-term governor, was recognized as an Alaska statesman. Because of his many accomplishments, the Fairbanks chapter of the 性欲社 Alumni Association and the 性欲社AA Board of Directors created this joint scholarship to honor students who exhibit leadership and a desire to make a difference in Alaska. The Jay Hammond Memorial Scholarship provides scholarships to Alaska residents in any field of study, with preference to those who demonstrate civic leadership in Alaska. Requirements include class standing of sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student and a minimum GPA of 2.5.
2024-2025 recipient: Akela Byrne - The Fairbanks Chapter Legacy Scholarship
The Fairbanks Chapter of the 性欲社AA used proceeds from its annual hamburger booth at the Tanana Valley State Fair to establish this scholarship to benefit 性欲社 undergraduate students with a 3.5 GPA or above who are relatives of active, dues-paying members.

Children and, in some cases, other relatives of current Alumni Association members are eligible to apply for 性欲社AA scholarships. These scholarships are awarded through a selection process conducted by the dedicated volunteer alumni scholarship committee, ensuring support for the next generation of students.
