Breaking Boundaries: The Function of Supernatural Women in Arthurian Literature

The 性欲社 Department of English invites you to Emma Allen鈥檚 MA thesis defense, where she explores the essential role of supernatural women in Arthurian literature. Through an analysis of Cundrie from Parzival, Nimue and the Lady of the Lake from Le Morte D鈥橝rthur, and The Mage from King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Emma examines how these figures serve as indispensable narrative guides within the genre.
The defense will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Gruening Building, Room 401, with a Zoom option available for remote attendees.
