Create a UA account
In order to complete a housing application, you must be admitted to 性欲社, have set up your UA username and password and have access to . Contact 性欲社 Nanook Technology Services for assistance with your UA username.

Note: Building preferences are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
Complete Housing Application
Step 1: Access your Housing Portal.
Step 2: Apply for Housing
Click Application in the navigation bar. Click 鈥淐reate Application鈥 or 鈥淐ontinue Application鈥, depending on the status of your application.
Step 3: Review your information
Before starting your housing application, you must review and confirm your profile information. Add Emergency and optional Missing Person鈥檚 Contact. If under 18, please provide a Guardian Contact.
Step 4: Complete application
Complete Your Application: Complete each section of the application by answering all required questions. Click the Continue button at the bottom of each page as you complete it to save your work as you proceed.
Step 5: Complete Student Questionnaire
Complete Your Student Questionnaire. Your answers help match you with compatible roommates.
Set your questionnaire visibility at the top of the page:
Public: Other students can view your responses during the roommate selection.
Private: Only administrators can see your answers.
Step 6: Submit and confirm your Application.
Step 7: Complete Student Questionnaire
Under 鈥淎pplication鈥, click 鈥淎dditional Docs鈥 and sign your Housing Agreement.
Step 8: Request roommates (Optional)
After your application is approved, you can search for, and request roommates. You
can also create or join a roommate group.
Those who do not have a preferred roommate or prefer a single room can skip this step.
Note: Roommate preferences are not guaranteed and are subject to room availability. Incoming first-year students can only be matched with incoming first-year students. Only matched requests will be considered. Don't wait for friends to apply together! Submit your application as soon as you're admitted to 性欲社.
Deposit and Application Fee
A non-refundable $40 application fee is required to submit your application. The application fee is waived for first-year students.
If you're under 18, please enter your parent's email address in the emergency contact section of the housing application to ensure your housing application is emailed to them for their signature.
For Employee, Family, and Graduate housing, the processing fee is due once a unit is identified for you and a conduct check is run. After clearing the check, an official housing offer will be sent.
For semester room charges, including check-out charges, residents can pay in person, on , wire transfer or For more information on payment options, visit the Office of the Bursar on the first floor of Signers' Hall.
Fall 2025 assignments begin June 23. Application received after this date will be assigned within two weeks
Things to keep in mind
Assignments are made based on the date the application is complete (earliest first). If you're matched with a roommate, assignments will be based on application complete date and hall preferences. If you and your matched roommate don't have the same hall preferences, the assignment coordinator will contact you to determine your preference.
Hall preferences are reviewed and assignments are made based on room availability.
Assignment letters with check-in instructions are emailed to your preferred email address as designated on UAOnline. Housing assignments and roommate contact information can be found on your Housing portal.
If you did not get assigned your preferred room type, you can participate in the Room Change Lottery that takes place during the summer prior to hall opening. After hall opening, room change lotteries occur every two weeks.
Note: Be aware that while we do our best not to move residents after they're assigned a space, certain situations may result in your assignment changing. Rooms with vacancies may be consolidated to ensure housing space is used efficiently.
No matter where you are on campus, there's always a restaurant, coffee shop, snack bar or convenience store nearby. 性欲社 Dining Services offers a variety of delicious food with the convenience of five locations campus-wide.
All undergraduate students residing in Residence Halls and Cutler Apartments are required to purchase a meal plan. Residents of Employee, Family and Graduate Housing (EFG) and graduate students may choose to opt in to any Residence Hall or Commuter meal plan.
If you'd like to cancel your housing application, please submit a Housing Cancellation form, found in your Housing Portal under request. You may be subject to cancellation fees. Please see your Housing Agreement for details.
After submitting your Housing Application, please contact the Residence Life Central Office to update your application preference.
All communication from Residence Life is done through your preferred email account as designated on UAOnline. Make sure your mobile phone designated on UAOnline has voicemail set up to receive important messages. You may also receive text messages.

Limited summer and winter break housing is available and can be found here. Residents are usually housed in one residence hall and move into that hall for the break period. Residents must apply and be approved for summer and winter housing. Residents in Employee, Family and Graduate Housing (EFG) stay in their spaces as long as their agreement is in place and don't need to apply for additional housing. Residents in the Cutler Apartments who are residents for both the fall and spring semesters can stay in their apartments over winter break at no additional cost.
